For the past few weeks, it's been all green grass and chirping birds around here. But Saturday, we woke up to this:
Six inches of new snow! I'm not sure how my blossoming perennials felt about that, but a certain three-and-a-half year old sure was excited. And luckily, we have some neighbor boys who were all too willing to roll around in the snow with the Riles, while I sipped my hot cocoa and watched through the window.

Winter, it was a fun good-bye party, but please don't show your face around here again until next year.

I love the pic of the three boys laying in the snow. Very cute.
I have to agree with you about the snow. We were able to get through the weekend. I only minimally griped about having to brush 4 more inches (on top of yesterday's 4") off my car this morning...but now I'm done! It wouldn't hurt my feelings if winter was done too.
holy crud! That is crazy! Everyone said it snowed here early in the morning, but it was hardly anything..didn't even stick! That is so fun! But yeah seriously winter leave us alone already!
You want winter to be done with, try coming back to Utah, it's supposed to snow all this week, have a two day break and then snow again...I really wish winter would move on already and stop teasing us.
