Great Expectations

Items that Riley has requested for his birthday:

1- A waterfall
2- A "weel wive" tiger
3- A space ship to the moon

Locations Riley insists he would like his party to be at:

1- Target
2- That's it. There's no suitable alternative in his mind. I think he envisions himself and his little friends running free and filling their carts up with all of the toys they can possibly handle.

Needless to say, I don't think I can live up to his expectations. Especially since his party is in one week and I have no idea what we're going to do to keep the childrens entertained. On a side note, anyone know how to throw together an absolutely magnificent birthday party in, oh, say a week?

Build a waterfall in your backyard (throw the hose over the roof or something?) and we'll paint stripes on Harvey. That's all I got.

P.S. Riles, your taste in locations is IMPECCABLE. I wanted to have my birthday party at Target too.

He is such a funny kid, it's cute though! I know it has nothing to do with what he wants but kids that age love treasure hunts, you could pull that off and they would have a ton of fun.

Riley...Not only is the kid cute, but he's got great taste in venues! Ha ha.
As for throwing a great party fast - I say go to the dollar store and conjure up something with whatever you find! I think as long as there is cake/cupcakes and ice cream, that's all they really want.
Maybe water games in the backyard. Plug in a water toy to the hose and let them run wild and burn off their energy. :)

I am all for the party at Target, as long as we can get whatever we want for FREE! Haha. What awesome presents he wanted! Chase's requests were transformers, spider man, batman, and every other superhero on the planet!

Hey Lacey,

Just to add to the treasure hunts, got to "Nature for Kids" (its one of the links on my blog) and it is packed with ideas of how to make that really fun. It is kindof a pirates theme. Let me know if you have a hard time finding it. :)
