Helping Hands

I am happy to announce that all those lessons about the importance of cleaning up messes are finally sinking into Riley's little noggin.

Observe: Riley's yogurt and cereal spoon, neatly placed back in the silverware drawer after use. WITH the yogurt still on it.

Maybe I don't really want him to learn to pitch in and help after all.

That's classic...I love it! Come to think of it, there were probably lots of chores my mom probably had to redo after I finished.

Ew! I hope you noticed that soon after it happened so it wasn't stinky! Lol!

Well, he's got the putting away down, now you need to work on the clean part.

That's funny! When Derek was younger I ask him to put his yogurt cup in the trash and put his spoon in the sink, then later when I went to throw something away I found his yogurt cup in the sink and his spoon in the trash, he just had it a little backwards.

Awesome! Jeff loves to help, but he also struggles at times. He gets the garbage, toy bin, and sink confused a lot. I hope we haven't thrown any too many things with this minor confusion. :)
