The Most Exciting Things Happening To Me Right Now

1- My toenail fell off. Out of the clear blue. And I rejoiced greatly. Those of you who have seen my toenail would agree that it's a very good thing that it fell off.

2-Miracle of Miracles, Riley is now semi potty trained. I started working with him a few months ago and it was a complete disaster. So I gave up. Then, two weeks ago, Riley just woke up one morning and said, "I wanna wear unners (underwear)." Since then, he's been going to the bathroom all by himself, with an occasional accident here and there. Drat those pants with buttons on them.

Let that be a lesson to you, my friends. If something is ever too hard, just give up and everything will miraculously work out in the end.

3- I went to the gym last week for the first time in two months. That averages out to be a $60 visit. You may now commence on judging me.

4-I am vaguely pondering the idea of planting a vegetable garden. Or hiring someone to plant a vegetable garden for me.

5- I have discovered www.pandora.com. Go check it out. It's a free program where you type in the kind of artists you like and then it creates your very own radio station.

5-I may or may not be addicted to ice cream topped with hot fudge.

Lacey! Great post! You cracka me uppa.

Erm, I'm planting a veg garden. Let's collaborate (I've tilled and made a list of the veggies I want, what have you done?).

P.S. If you would put some strawberries and toasted pecans on the ice cream with the fudge sauce, your addiction would be healthful and even more delicious. And we could collaborate there too.

P.S. I want to see the toenail. Or lack thereof.

Fig----Do you have a tiller? Because I have been searching high and low for one that I can use for free! So that would work out nicely for me if you did.

Can be rented, $37 for 4 hours, from a place on 15th. Find me at church, we will continue the collaboration.

I love your posts! Congrats on potty training Riley, that will be so nice for you! I get ill almost everytime I have to change one of Derek's stinky diapers. I want to plant a garden as well, I just don't know what I want to plant yet. What are you going to plant?
P.S. I saw that you were reading the five love languages, what do you think so far? I actually learn that I am directly in the middle of physical and spending time love, I didn't really know that, but when I think about it it really makes sense. Ian is totally service...which is a bummer since I actually have to do things for him for him to feel loved instead of just giving him a hug, j/k but I think it does take a lot more effort on my part! What is your love language, or have you found out yet?

Last year I made my husband build me a raised garden box (super easy out of left-over fence posts). And all I had to do was fill it with cheap dirt from the landscape place--okay, so he did that part too. But it was way easy to plant and take care of--no heavy machinery! Sadly, we moved and I don't have my garden box this year. *sigh* And since I'm having a baby next week, I don't see much point in renting a community garden plot this year.

This has nothing to do with your post but I changed my blog address so you have to change it too. The new one is www.hooray4everything.blgospot.com.
Peace Out and have a blast in Utah!!!

You're a delight, Banister. Man, you are a PROLIFIC reader. You go through books like I go through cheese. I can't stop myself, and yet all I'm gaining is thighs. But you...you're a fountain of knowledge, I'll wager. PS. I'm a huge fan of Pandora.
PS. WE've got to talk about Ana Karenina sometime? I'll call you, friend.

You've read Atlas Shrugged? I've been meaning to read it, but I just don't have the time. How is it?

Mim, do call me. ANd thanks for calling me a fountain of knowledge. Even though it may not be true, it still makes me feel warm and fuzzy in side.

Brother--Atlas shrugged is good, although I disagree with some of her ideas. Definitely worth reading though.
